27è PREMI LUIS VALTUEÑA DE FOTOGRAFIA HUMANITÀRIA

Since 1997, Médicos del Mundo annually announces the award in memory of Flors Sirera, Luis Valtueña, Manuel Madrazo and Mercedes Navarro, four members of the organization murdered in Rwanda and Bosnia and Herzegovina while they participated in humanitarian action projects.

The 27th edition shows the winning work, Inside Myanmar armed revolution, by Siegfried Modola. It presents a series of ten photographs in which it makes visible the conflict in a country that has banned journalists from covering the civil war since its armed forces deposed the democratically elected government in February 2021.
