LA DIFUSIÓ DEL PATRIMONI AUDIOVISUAL I FOTOGRÀFIC, FRANCESC X. BONNÍN

The head of the Mallorca Sound and Image Archive describes the objectives, means and strategies used by a public archive that disseminates the local audiovisual and photographic heritage with an international vocation. It will also share the activities carried out in recent years for the knowledge of audiovisual heritage and the promotion and dissemination of photography.

Francesc X. Bonnín. Photographer and art historian. In the professional field, he has devoted himself to the cataloging of artistic and photographic collections, to the curation and coordination of exhibitions and film cycles, and to photography for museums, art galleries and foundations.

MALLORCA (1985, no voice, 20’)

Agustí Villaronga

Special screening of the unpublished short film by Agustí Villaronga Majorca, commissioned by the Mallorca Tourism Promotion Foundation in 1985 and recovered by the Mallorca Sound and Image Archive. The 16mm film that was never used is a sequence of images of Mallorca in sun and beach, with a soundtrack by the composers Philip Glass and Win Mertens.
