L’ART DE PROGRAMAR CINEMA AMB ANNA PETRUS

In this conference, Anna Petrus, artistic director of the film festival DocsBarcelona, will talk about the complexity of the programming process and will raise some of the most relevant dilemmas that film festivals around the world are currently facing when making their programs. The huge international film production has taken the responsibility of the festivals to the extreme in terms of the prescriptive task and has turned the task of programming into a true art.

Anna Petrus. Filmmaker, film critic, cultural researcher, teacher and currently artistic director of DocsBarcelona, ​​International Documentary Film Festival. He has worked as a film critic in several relevant film magazines and newspapers in Spain. Currently, she is a contributor to the newspaper We buy, in which she writes about cinema, audiovisuals and feminism, and is the founder of Dones Visuals (association of women filmmakers in Catalonia).
