INSULA
Oriol Miñarro
Ínsula is territory and memory, a process of adaptation and evolution that marks the individual. Memories, idealized or painful, are reconstructed and questioned. Island is condition, isolation and complexity: climate, orography and biodiversity forge character and determine inevitable human relationships.
Born in Barcelona in 1974, Mi laarro’s first approach to photography was in 2008. The contact with the street leads him to acquire habits, techniques and his own style that, under the umbrella of evolution, leads him to a discourse closer to author photography.
