Miguel Eek

In a world that is turning faster and faster, bibliophanes are sheltered from the rush and noise in the library. Between murmurs they confess about the meaning of life. A celebration of thought and obsession in which libraries reveal their inhabitants.

Eek has a degree in Documentary Cinema from ESCAC in Barcelona. He also studied a film course at the Helsinki University of Technology and other workshops such as Eurodoc. Since 2005 he has directed several documentaries, selected and awarded at various international festivals such as IDFA, Docaviv, Malaga Festival, Full Frame, DocEdge, among others.

In 2006 he founded Mosaic, a production company specializing in documentary film. He is also a member of ACIB, APAIB, DOCMA and DAE.
