SHORT FILM AWARDS CLOSING

Sixteen documentary short films competing for: the Ullastre Award for Best Documentary, the Award for Best Documentary Short Film from the Balearic Islands, a Short Film eligible for the Fugaz Awards, the Aula Doc Award and the Audience Award.

Jury for the 2026 Documentary Short Film Awards:

Joan Carles Martorell. Holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication (UAB). His career has been linked to film production, internet project development, several years working at Apple, university teaching, and the direction and programming of the public television channel IB3.

Anna Petrus. A filmmaker, programmer, teacher and researcher from Menorca based in Barcelona. She is currently a programming advisor at Sheffield Doc Fest, teaches film at UPF and ESCAC, and is preparing several fiction and non-fiction film projects.

Xavi Herrero. Documentary filmmaker and photographer. Founder and director of the IBIZACINEFEST festival, he has directed five internationally awarded feature films. He currently combines documentary filmmaking with street photography. He directs the STREET PHOTOGRAPHY BARCELONA festival.
