The sixth edition of Menorca Doc Fest begins a new stage with the intention of supporting audiovisual creation even more and offering Menorcans the possibility of approaching the reality that surrounds us and being a speaker for the artistic creation of the Balearic Islands. The residencies supporting photographic creation are consolidated with the first photobook editorial publication and the grants in the fourth edition of the Biosphere Award for documentary creation are increased.
The program proposes premieres, exhibitions, conferences and colloquiums, both for professionals and for the general public. The festival’s identity marks are being lost with the intention of making visible, educating and disseminating through photography and cinema.
Aula Doc, the educational project for the high schools of Menorca; the Ullastre Award, of international short film, and the Balearic Documentary Short Film is released. A festival with most free activities located around Menorca, designed for both visitors and residents, where everyone is invited.
