Patricia Almarcegui and José Luis Guerín share a common outlook on the art of storytelling. On the occasion of the documentary Historias del Buen Valle, which will be screened that same day at 8 pm at the Ocimax, Almarcegui will lead a conversation with the filmmaker covering key moments in his career and offering an in-depth look at the poetics and sensibilities of his creative universe.
Patricia Almarcegui Elduayen. Writer, professor and former dancer. She has published essays, novels and non-fiction books translated into several languages, including Los mitos del viaje, Conocer Irán, La memoria del cuerpo, Las vidas que no viví and Cuadernos perdidos de Japón.
José Luis Guerín. Director and writer, known for Tren de sombras (1997), La academia de las musas (2015) and En construcción (2001). His latest project, Historias del Buen Valle (2026), won the Jury Prize at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
