MACIÀ FLORIT
He is an audiovisual producer from Ciutadella, who lives and works in Barcelona. He graduated in Humanities from the UPF and, thanks to the DOCMA scholarship, took a Masters in Documentary Cinema in Madrid. Since 2020 he has been a partner of Elsabeth, an independent audiovisual production company based in Solsona. His professional experience includes the production of cultural programs for television, video clips, documentary film and fiction. On his native island he teaches audiovisual training workshops for young people and adults with the collaboration of the Menorca Film Festival and other entities on the island. After directing four short films, in 2021 he premiered his first feature, Pedra Pàtria. The film has toured national and international festivals such as Doclisboa, Visions du Réel or Alcances, where it received the award for best film.
JAVIER MUÑIZ
He is a founding member of associations such as Asociación de Festivales de Madrid or La Meseta, and an active member of Pantalla. He is the creator and president of La Boca Espacio de Cultura and the current director of the 7th edition of La Boca Erótica International Short Film Festival of Sexual Themes. He has also directed for consecutive years the international festivals Cortos de Ciudad de Soria and Cortometrajes La Boca del Lobo, as well as the Semana de Cine in Buenos Aires. In Menorca and Formentera he has carried out the Cine a los Cuatro Vientos project. He has served on the jury on several occasions such as the Tandil Festival in Argentina, SEMINCI in Valladolid, Formentera Film Festival, California Film Festival, Guanajuato Mexico International Film Festival, Lago Film Fest Italia, FILMETS in Girona, MECAL in Barcelona, among others .
ARIADNA RIBAS
És una editora de cinema amb seu a Barcelona. És llicenciada en Cinema i Edició de Vídeo per la Universitat de Barcelona / ESCAC. Des de 2012 ha treballat com a editora en diverses pel·lícules de llarga durada com a part de l’equip d’edició i postproducció d’Albert Serra. Pel·lícules com Tourment sur les îles / Pacifiction (2022), Liberté (2019) o Personalien (2019). També La mort de Lluís XIV (2016) o Singularitat (2015). Recentment ha format part de l’equip d’edició de Sis dies Corrents (2021) de Neus Ballús, guanyadora de la millor edició als Premis Gaudí. També va editar la guardonada pel·lícula d’Elena Martín Júlia Ist (2017).
En documental, entre els seus últims projectes, va treballar a Del Otro Lado (2021) per Iv.n Guarnizo i Magaluf Ghost Town (2021) per Miguel Ángel Blanca o Panquiaco (2019) per Ana Elena Tejera. Des de 2012 ha treballat com a professora al departament d’edició d’estudis de postgrau de la UPF/BSM, entre altres escoles, proporcionant metratge trobat i tallers de collage animat. El 2008 crea, juntament amb Ana Pfaff, el Col·lectiu Dostopos. També és membre de l’AMMAC (Associació Catalana d’Editors Audiovisuals).
